Bleach - Stormy Skies

Alrighty then.

So the Cintiq 21UX is plain awesome. I'm still getting the hang of using it, but it's pure joy. I can draw and color without my eyes feel like they're going to blaze out of my skull, and I feel like my speed is already improving. Don't get me wrong, I love my Intous, but this has been an incredible shift.

Apparently still on a Bleach kick... started doodling this in Manga Studio after getting adjusting my tablet settings, and it kinda took off from there. Brought it back into Painter for coloring experimentation. I'm really pleased At the original resolution I was working with, it would've taken me a lot longer, I'm sure. I should also give props to two magazines I've been subscribed to for a few months now, Corel Painter and ImagineFX. Really great for aspiring digital artists.

The sky bg is modified from one I found at cgtextures.com. The butterflies were from MS, part of my original idea for the pic before it zoomed off course and landed here as such.

Rukia's cool I like her doodle descriptions. The "full" title of this was going to be more like "Stormy Skies, Stormy Heart", but dA doesn't give you that much room~
